Roofing & Chimneys

  Having bought and old terraced house in Wexford town, with the intention of renovating it myself, I quickly realised that the chimney was in very poor condition. I also had concerns about the flashing on the chimney stack. This type of work was beyond my ability, both from a knowledge and safety point of view. I contacted James Kells and he agreed to call, inspect, report and price the necessary work. He did this in a timely and detailed manner. He answered any questions I had and gave me advice communicating with the owners of adjoining properties. Being very happy with further discussion I engaged him to do the work. Several complications (all outside of his control) arose and he dealt with/worked around them and completed the job to a very high standard and to agreed price. He left everywhere clean.   James repaired a roof for us on a rental property in Gorey in October. James arrived promptly at the agreed time to inspect the roof. He gave us comprehensive details of our options and a detailed estimate. James started the work on the agreed date and stayed with the job until it was finished, even working into the public holiday weekend. He kept us fully informed as the work progressed by phone and by sending photographs.
